Based on the LP count Sen. Mar Roxas leads 137,404 votes against Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay. The Liberal Party based its finding on 88 out of the total 108 provincial and chartered city COCs that shows that Mar Roxas lead of 137,404 votes over Binay. Roxas has 11,890,802 votes, while Binay has 11,753,398 votes based on these COCs.
However based on 90.27% of total election returns (ERs) transmitted by the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) machines nationwide, as of 3:57 pm of May 17, Binay had 13,491,506 votes while Roxas had 12,679,915 votes.
The LP claimed that the data from the COCs are more credible, since these will be used by Congress as they proceed with the national canvassing of votes.
“We hold the official certificates of canvass that was given to the Liberal Party as the dominant opposition party,” said Abad at a press conference in Araneta Center, Quezon City.

On the earlier said of Sen. Enrile that the counting will be finish by June 4. Many people are hoping to finish this issue and proclaim the new winner of the election and proceed to the problem of the country instead of investigating the election issues.
