Debby Ryan or popularly known to teens and tweens as Bailey of The Suite Life on Deck. Debby is Disney Channel’s mainstay star. By profession Debby Ryan is an actress, singer, voice actor and screenwriter. Debby Ryan started acting in professional theaters at the age of seven and in 2007 she appeared in Barney: Let’s Go to the Firehouse DVD-film and then afterwards she was discovered in a nationwide search by Disney Channel.
This coming June 25, 2010 the Disney Channel will launch a movie which feature Debby Ryan on her first major role. In the Disney Channel Original Movie, 16 Wishes Debby Ryan will play the role of Abby Jensen.The 16 wishes tells the story of Abby Jensen, a teenage girl who can’t wait to grow up, but when she’s handed the chance to make all her wishes come true, quickly learns the importance of being careful what you wish for.
Also starring in 16 wishes are Jean-Luc Bilodeau as Jay Kepler, Karissa Tynes as Krista Cook, Cainan Wiebe as Mike Jensen and many others. The 16 wishes is directed by Directed by Peter DeLuise and written by Annie DeYoung. Plot:Eager to grow up, Abby has been planning for her Sweet 16th birthday ever since she was a little girl.
When the big day finally arrives, she excitedly adds her 16th and final wish to the secret wish list she’s been keeping. Then begins the first of many unusual occurrences that day, each including visits from a peculiar woman, Celeste, whose first appearance is to deliver a mysterious box of 16 birthday candles.Her birthday gets a whole lot brighter when Abby realizes that the candles correspond to her 16 wishes and each of her wishes is coming true.
Abby got the attention of her crush; she gets back at her lifelong nemesis, Krista Cook, and is suddenly becomes fashionable, athletic and popular. But when one wish goes horribly awry, it changes everything, even her relationship with best friend Jay; leading Abby to finally understand that being a kid isn’t so bad.
